Description
Beach Day portrays what I love – family, shorelines, bodies in motion. It is characterized by meticulous detail, subtle color mixtures and dramatic contrasts between light and shadow. Previously, I was a choreographer so naturally, human movement is my favorite theme. I have sought to create images out of bits and pieces since childhood. As my technique and designs evolved, my material selection changed from broken plates, to ceramic tile, and eventually to cracked stone.
